Good rack for the moneyNov 01, 2011
Overall, this is a great clothing rack. It was definitely work the $40. I recently moved into an apartment with a shortage of closet space. So, I wanted to get a rack that would hold a lot of heavy clothes, namely winter coats. The two different heights makes for easy viewing of the items on the rack. Two of the four casters have locking mechanisms, which was a pleasant surprise. The locking mechanism on the "telescoping" supports work pretty well. I had a rack years ago that claimed to have this feature and it just collapsed under the smallest amount of weight.)
The reason I'm writing this review is to warn you about the instructions. Assembly of the rack is NOT difficult. You do need a screwdriver. But the thing about the instructions is they are hysterical. I would love to know the first language of the author; it was not English. When I first read the instructions, I literally doubled over laughing. I have to share my favorite excerpts and I PROMISE these are verbatim.
"We are very appreciated that you purchased our products, please strictly obery tothe caution items during using, it is our willingness if you can use it proper ... also need assemble according to demands"
"For fear accur the accident don't make the child play on the ploe."
"... for fear cut your hand and feet and so on"
"No using beside the stove and fired machine"
"Please store in the dried place when you stop to use."
"If the surface is not level up the hanger will fall plesae use it in surface level up"

Sturdy but design flaw makes it pointless to useMay 08, 2012
It was super late when I ordered this and I was tired and I had already spent waaaaaay too much time researching affordable garment racks that would't buckle under the weight of a chiffon blouse... Saw this had gotten the best ratings -- what a great excuse to stop searching and just buy something. So I did. And perhaps had I not been so tired or frustrated I would have noticed THE VERY OBVIOUS DESIGN FLAW THAT RENDERS THE RACK (sorta) USELESS.
Look at the rack width. Now look at how straight it is. Imagine trying to fill both racks with clothes (which is basically the whole point of buying a double rack, right?)... And unless you're using junior mini hangers made for toddlers, the picture you're painting in your mind will probably just look like a jumble**** of hangers -- a chaotic mess of twisted clumps of plastic tubing (or sturdy cedar if you're fancy).... because that's what happens when you try to fill both racks. The hangers are clumped together which makes hanging stuff up sort of pointless if the purpose is to help preserve your clothes' shape and keep them wrinkle free. So you have to adjust the hangers so they line up straight (but then you might as well just buy a single rack) or angle them into a V formation as if they were geese or something.
My reviews aren't usually like this. This ****ing rack just makes me so bitter. The only reason I gave it 2 stars and not negative billion is that it was a.) relatively easy to assemble, and b.) really does hold quite a bit of weight. I loaded mine up with heavy winter coats and blazers and it didn't buckle a bit.
I can't attest to the sturdiness of this alternative but at least they have the design down Organize It All Double Adjustable Garment Rack 1719... CURVED... to allow for length of the hangers! Novel idea, I know. Brilliant. 'Premium Heavy Duty Double Rail Adjustable Telescopic Rolling Clothing and Garment Rack' -- I shake my fist at you.

Great Unit-Great ValueMar 30, 2011
By Amazon Customer
I purchased a couple of these units in prepartion for a recent move and have been completely satisfied with them. Because of their adjustability, they're very flexibile. And, while very light, they were able to hold an amazing amount of weight. All of this for a very reasonible price.
My only complaint--and it's very minor--is that the assembly instructions were (at least to me) unclear and confusing. Overall, though, highly recommended.

Does the jobJun 12, 2010
I decided to buy (2) of these vs (1) for $60 to get more space. The $60 had fantastic reiews. I think this one is made in China. WHile fairly simple to put together,it is not the highest quality, probably worth the $30 nevertheless. I am not happy with the wheels so if you don't plan on moving it around, I recommend it. It does hold a considerable amount of weight.

The rack is sturdy enough for me, but the two main rods are so close together that the hangers on each of them overlap, much more than "rubbing shoulders". So when a person pushes clothing on the hangers back on one rod, the clothes on hangers of the second rod are along for the ride.
